Hospital beds are one of the most critical medical resources. Large hospitals in China have caused bed utilization rates to exceed 100% due long-term extra beds. To alleviate contradiction between supply high-quality resources and demand for hospitalization, this paper, we address decision choosing a case mix respiratory medicine department. We aim generate an optimal admission plan elective patients with stochastic length stay different resource consumption. assume that can classify according their registration information before admission. formulated general integer programming model considering heterogeneous introducing patient priority constraints. The mathematical is used scientific reasonable planning, determining best multitype period. Compared II does not consider constraints, I proposed paper better terms admissions revenue. adjust parameters meet output under goals scenarios. daily planning each type obtained by be assist management large hospitals.
